The CoreDiag button doesn't appear

The button only shows on repair order pages. Confirm you're on an actual RO: the URL should contain /repair-orders/. If you still don't see it, the extension may not be installed. Contact IT.

The diagnosis is taking a long time

Deep mode can take up to 30 seconds, especially for vehicles with a lot of service history or NHTSA data. The progress steps show what's happening. If it takes more than a minute, close the panel and try again.

The suggestions don't seem right for this vehicle

CoreDiag uses the information available on the RO: concern, vehicle, history. If the customer concern is vague (like "check engine light"), the suggestions will be broader. More specific concerns give better results. You can also update the concern on the RO and click Re-analyze.

I clicked Write to Tekmetric but don't see it on the RO

Refresh the Tekmetric page. The diagnostic job should appear as a line item on the RO. If it's missing, contact IT.

Can I use this on my phone or tablet?

Not currently. CoreDiag works in Chrome and Edge on desktop computers only.

I accidentally hid the button and can't find it

Look for a small gray circle in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Click it to restore the CoreDiag button.
